Podbooster is operated by Straw Hut Media. By buying a campaign you agree to what is on this page. It is written to be readable rather than long, and it says the same things the rest of the site says.
You pay a fixed price per IAB v2.1-verified download of a specific podcast episode. The rate is $0.80 per download. A $100 campaign is 125 downloads; $200 is 250. We run advertising on the Google Display Network that brings listeners to a page for your episode, and we count the downloads that result.
This is the part worth reading closely, because it is what you are actually buying. A download counts only when all three of these are true:
This is the standard your own hosting platform measures by, which is why the number we report should agree with what you see in Megaphone, Spotify for Podcasters, Apple Podcasts, Libsyn or wherever your show is hosted. If our number and your host's number disagree, tell us — that is a fault on our side and we treat it as one.
Most campaigns deliver their full goal within 2 to 5 days. Every campaign is guaranteed to complete within 30 days. If a campaign has not delivered its full download count within 30 days, contact us and we will make it right.
Campaigns begin after a short Google advertising review. We do not control the timing of that review.
Payment is taken up front through Stripe. Once a campaign launches, your ads begin serving immediately and the advertising spend is committed and cannot be recovered — that money has gone to Google, not to us. For that reason we cannot refund a campaign that has started serving. If you have a concern about a running campaign, contact us and we will work with you to find a solution.
If a campaign has not yet launched, contact us and we will cancel and refund it in full.
We may decline or stop a campaign for content that would breach Google's advertising policies, and we will refund any undelivered portion if we do.
We deliver verified downloads. We do not promise chart positions, follower or subscriber counts, listener retention, reviews, sponsorship interest, or any outcome downstream of the download. Anyone who promises you a chart position is describing something that cannot be delivered without manufacturing accounts, which is fraud and puts your show at risk of removal.
We sign you in with a magic link sent to your email, so keep access to that inbox secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can ask us to close it at any time.
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a campaign is limited to the amount you paid for that campaign. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue or lost sponsorship.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and changes do not apply retroactively to a campaign already paid for.
